Is this camera better than the NEX 5N
the screen can tilt upward…what about downward?
no the F3 can record in 50i 60i and 25p (17 and 25Mbits) in the AVCHD format
so whats worse in theF3 ? the display is a bit smaller i think and is it a touchscreen?
“If you want to use video the NEX 5N is no good” What do you base this statement on? The 5n takes great video, and at 1080p60 even. Granted there are some moire issues in some circumstances, but there are lots of great video examples from this camera all over the place. It’s also popular for aerial video because it’s light.
If you want to use video the NEX 5N is no good. So yes this will probably be better. Although, I must also point out this camera records in 60i/50i which is useless. At least it has 25p though which is useable in most cases.

NEX 7 is Sony high end NEX. NEX F3 is the lowest end.

Damn right it drains the battery. What kinda horse pee were they drinking when they thought about that? My 550d shuts down when i leave it on after transferring files. So glad for this option. OOo-rah!! and that 1080p with AVCHD.. OOO-RAH!! Now..should i stay or should i go? O_o…. Upgrade time me thinks from C3 to F3
Finally, they give USB charging. I’m sure most NEX users know that if you accidentally leave your camera connected via USB and forget to turn it off after transferring the files, it actually drains the battery.
please…bring in NEW lenses…N-E-W lenses, not just a rebranded Tamron lens. This is just retarded, We have already 2 superzoom lens! Tamron 18-200 and Sony own 18-200. Hope this is not the “High magnification Zoom lens” that appeared on the revised 2012 roadmap. If so, I don’t know what else to expect with the other lenses…
