  1. great review

i always LOVED Nikon fm2 (silver) black was more expensive

    best wishes

  2. I have F90x, one kit af lens and manual lenses (such as 50mm Ai-S or Jupiter 35). Is it worth it to change to F4? Apart from fresnel-focusing screen and 100% of the shot in the viewfinder what else can be an argument for changing the camera? I heard that autofocus is ridiculously slow on F4, is that true?

  3. I have this camera, also an N90, N2020 and a Bronica SQ. I wonder if film will be around much longer though. The film cameras are much more satisfying to use, in my opinion. I feel as though the ability to take hundreds or thousands of pictures, and also to preview them, cheapens the experience of photography, but all the real pros use digital because of that.

  4. Hey scott, thank you so much for the video. I have a question though. What are your thoughts on the F4 vs the F5?

  5. problem now is that few labs are going to process your film the right way anymore. this is my problem

  6. Yes,good deal, now some good primes and some fuji velvia and your off to the races

also shoot bw film. the nikor 50mm f1.4 is sweet

  7. Hi Scott,

    I got a F4 for about 200 € (270 $). Is that a good price for a used one ?

  8. it works with all lenses built by nikon . so you can use it with pretty much everything

  9. thanks,

    Scott

as for a lens i reco the 50mm f/1.4 its super sharp and great. also the 85mm f/1.4

  10. I would get one on Ebay or at Adorama. I would also use the nikon 50mm F/1.4 lens, it produces a wonderful look in film, and i would shoot Fuji Velvia 100 with it. As for flash any Nikon should do, Like Sb-26 or newer.

Enjoy, also they are cheap now, as ever one is digital.
