it only shoots in JPEG for the HDR
I wonder if it shoots in RAW for it’s HDR mode… I know for the A-55 it only shoots in HDR mode on the JPEGs.

I have been saving for this camera for the past year, I was just about to buy it until I found out Sony supports SOPA. Now, I will not be purchasing the camera and accessories until they oppose the bill. If not, I’ll be purchasing from a competitor. Too bad because I would like this camera a lot, but I will not give 2000+ dollars to a company who supports such a horrendous bill. FUCK SOPA.

I still wouldnt sacrifice image quality and good low light performance for a fast shutter speed and burst rate, but oh well i guess theres people out there who need those 20something fps…
Look dude, Sony is the biggest consumer electronic manufacturer. You don’t think they will do something stupid do you? Your micro four third uses contrast detection AF while Sony SLT uses phase detection AF. Contrast detection is like snail compared to Phase detection. The AF process on Sony’s SLT is full time, meaning it won’t be interrupted even when the sensor is taking the picture. Wanna try to match the SLT AF speed with your pride?
again…why bother making a translucent mirror?? I have a micro four thirds camera and it sure needs no translucent mirror in order to provide an evf!
half the light goes to image sensor which records signal that goes to EVF and half the light goes to AF sensor. What were you thinkin?
